Baseline’s principals have learned over many years that installing sophisticated MEPR systems and computerized systems to control them is not easy. Keeping those controls operating correctly and within desired operating parameters is an even greater challenge. Building maintenance staff and contractor service technicians the world over are prone to tampering with and otherwise compromising the operation of MEP, refrigeration system, and computerized control systems. Over time, control setpoints, control strategies, and other key operating parameters move away from the original design values and intent due to equipment degradation and the actions of poorly trained or informed service personnel. Without remote monitoring, customers can never really know what is happening in their facilities.

When condition or control issues are detected during our remote monitoring activities, Baseline generates a corrective action plan and then follows the correction process through to final resolution. Baseline assigns field engineers (or trains customer staff) to work in tandem with Baseline’s remote monitoring engineers to help effect prompt and complete resolution of all issues identified. Baseline has found that reports and lists from monitoring services and centers are of limited useful value to customers, unless they are close-coupled with resolution teams or agents in the field.
